(Tejano into Techno*)

A Chicano de Dallas.

A Mexican-American of Texas.

& Born to parents from Guanajuato y Durango, Mexico.

This Tejano grew up alone creating their own unique American experience from cassettes, cds, e.p.s, 12” & 7” records, the hunger for emotion was fed by all genres.

As their parents chased the American dream they were alone hoping to find theirs. Where a young Latino saw only others that failed him, music would fill the void.

Chicano Techno is very excited to create a family that contributes, that host, & collaborates with anyone who wants to share their latinx experience thru electronic music.

Calling all my Chicanos de Techno y Chicanas Electrónicas let’s make this scene our home!

Besides mixing techno on vinyl we also offer a series of playlist available on SoundCloud & YouTube.

Releasing as “Bibliotechno” ;a play off the spanish word biblioteca = library; each new playlist will be released simultaneously yet with no similarities.

Youtube “Bibliotechno” documents our hunt for 1990s 2000s techno on vinyl. Check out these simple and genuine flashbacks that showcase a time when the genre had no past and only saw the future. So please, con cuidado shit can get weird. Lol.

Soundcloud “Bibliotechno” showcases modern works and will highlight the energy, style, & creativity the electronic music scene has to offer. Chicano Techno shows a glimpse to a future that still holds endless possibilities. Unlike the YouTube version, this list is an absolute must!

“Techno music should endorse new thinking, new approaches to what can be done with sound & rhythm. The age of people being open-minded never went away. The ears are still there.”
